1. PURPOSE OF THE PRIZE DRAW

The prize draw entitled “Prize draw for 2x$500 travel vouchers” under the Work and Travel USA campaign, referred to below as “the Draw”, aims to promote the activity of USIT COLOURS BULGARIA OOD, UIC 130881129 (in short “the Organiser”) in running the Work and Travel USA programme for students (in short “the Programme”), by awarding a prize once, at random, to one of the participants. Entry to the Draw is not conditional on any purchase.

2. Organiser

2.1. The Organiser of the Draw is USIT COLOURS BULGARIA OOD, UIC 130881129, registered office and address of management: Sofia, Sredets district, 35 Vasil Levski Blvd.

2.2. These terms and conditions of the Draw are published on the Organiser’s dedicated student summer work website – www.gotousa.bg – and are available throughout the period of the Draw.

3. Participants

3.1. A participant in the Draw is any legally capable natural person aged 18 or over, taking part in the Organiser’s Programme, who has met the conditions of entry.

3.2. Current employees of the Organiser may not take part in the Draw.

4. CONDITIONS of entry

4.1. To enter the Draw, any person meeting the conditions in clause 3 must:

4.1.1. Follow the Organiser’s profile on TikTok or Instagram (@usit_gotousa), depending on the platform used to enter.

4.1.2. Post on their own profile a video from the Programme with the hashtag #MyUsitSummer and tag the Organiser’s profile @usit_gotousa.

4.2. Persons who post more than one post with the hashtag #MyUsitSummer enter the Draw with each post separately.

4.3. Entry to the Draw is personal, and a prize won may not be transferred to a third party, nor exchanged for its cash equivalent.

4.4. By entering the Draw, participants agree to and accept these terms and conditions governing the Draw and their relations with the Organiser in connection with it.

5. How the Draw is conducted

5.1. All natural persons meeting the description in clause 3 and having met the conditions of entry in clause 4.1 during the period from 27.07.2026 to 30.09.2026 take part in the Draw.

5.2. After the campaign period ends, the Organiser draws up lists of all eligible entrants, separately for TikTok and for Instagram. The lists state their profiles on the respective platform.

5.3. Persons who have met the conditions in clause 4.1 more than once during the campaign period enter the Draw with each of their posts separately.

5.4. The winners are drawn by lot from among the entrants on the lists under clause 5.2 within 7 working days of the end of the campaign period stated in clause 5.1.

5.5. One person may win only one prize.

5.6. A prize is considered won upon the draw being made as described above, but is provided within the period and on the terms of clause 7.

5.7. The winner is notified by the Organiser by private message on Instagram or TikTok respectively, at the profile with which the prize was won. Notification takes place within 5 working days of the draw.

5.8. Within 14 working days of the date of notification, the participant must reply to the Organiser to confirm acceptance of the prize and to supply the details requested by the Organiser for delivery of the prize. If the winner does not reply within that period confirming acceptance, or does not supply the necessary details, they forfeit their right to the prize and are deemed to have declined it.

6. PRIZES THAT MAY BE WON IN THE DRAW

6.1. Prize “$500 travel voucher from Usit Colours“ – 1 for a participant who posted on TikTok. The voucher is valid until 31.10.2027 and applies to all services offered by the Organiser.

6.2. Prize “$500 travel voucher from Usit Colours“ – 1 for a participant who posted on Instagram. The voucher is valid until 31.10.2027 and applies to all services offered by the Organiser.

6.3. The total number of prizes to be awarded in the Draw is 2.

7. receiving THE PRIZES

7.1. Prizes are received no earlier than 2 working days after confirmation and submission of the necessary details under clause 5.8.

7.2. Winners may choose to receive their prize at an office of the Organiser of their choice, or by courier to an address in Bulgaria specified by the winner, at the Organiser’s expense. Collection in person is documented by a handover protocol; where a prize is sent by courier, the courier company’s confirmation of acceptance of the parcel serves as proof of delivery.

8. Collection and processing of personal data

8.1. The participant agrees that the Organiser will use the personal data provided for the purposes of the Draw, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the Organiser’s Personal Data Protection Policy, publicly available at https://usitcolours.bg/bg/privacy-policy.

8.2. The personal data provided by the participant on entry and for receipt of the prize is collected and may be processed solely for the following purposes: (a) entry and conduct of the Draw; (b) provision by the Organiser and receipt by the participant of the prize won; (c) fulfilment of the Organiser’s statutory obligations to declare under the Personal Income Taxes Act and pay the tax due, unless the winner declines under clause 9.3.

8.3. In connection with the Draw, the Organiser collects and processes the following types of personal data for entry: TikTok and/or Instagram handle; and for delivery of prizes: full name, personal identification number, the winner’s home address, email address and telephone number.

8.4. All personal data collected in connection with the Draw that relates to receipt of a prize is kept by the Organiser for the statutory 10-year period relating to the accounting treatment of the prizes. All other personal data collected by the Organiser in connection with the Draw is kept for 6 months.

8.5. The Organiser declares that it will not provide the data to third parties, except for the purposes of conducting this Draw or where provided for by law. Only the Organiser has access to all personal data collected in connection with the Draw.

8.6. Every participant has the right of access to their personal data processed by the Organiser and the right to request its erasure, rectification or blocking, by submitting a written request to the Organiser at its address of management, in person or through a representative expressly authorised by notarised power of attorney, or by email to: dpo@usitcolours.bg.

8.7. Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data before the Draw is made or the prizes are awarded will result in the person being excluded from the Draw.

9. Tax treatment of the prizes in the Draw

9.1. Under Article 13(1)(21) of the Personal Income Taxes Act, in force since 01.01.2017, cash prizes and prizes in kind from games of chance with a value above EUR 51.13 are taxable income for the natural person receiving them. The Organiser pays the tax due on the taxable income at its own expense.

9.2. The natural person who wins the prize may become obliged to declare, as income received, the euro equivalent of the prize acquired, together with the tax paid by the Organiser, in an annual tax return under Article 50 of the Personal Income Taxes Act. The annual tax return is filed within the deadlines and in the manner laid down in that Act.

9.3. Should a participant declared a winner not agree to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of declaring the prize received to the relevant tax authorities under the applicable tax legislation, they must state their objection to the Organiser expressly and in writing within 14 working days of being notified of the win. By objecting to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of declaring a prize received under the Personal Income Taxes Act, the participant forfeits the right to receive the prize.

10. Additional provisions:

10.1. Any disputes relating to the conduct of the Draw are settled in accordance with Bulgarian law, using out-of-court dispute resolution methods where possible.

10.2. The invalidity of any provision of these terms and conditions does not affect the validity and effect of the remaining provisions of this document.
