Why Queensbury, New York?
Queensbury sits right beside Lake George — the famous “Queen of American Lakes” — surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains. On your days off you can swim and kayak on crystal-clear water, hike Prospect Mountain for panoramic views, take a lake cruise, explore the beaches and arcades of Lake George Village, or ride the roller coasters at the park itself. The area is a genuine American summer holiday town: lively, safe, full of international students, and packed with things to do.
Queensbury is also within easy reach of bigger adventures — Albany is about an hour away, Montreal roughly three hours, and New York City is a popular weekend trip. Because the program runs into the fall, you’ll also get to see the legendary Adirondack autumn colours, one of the most spectacular natural displays in the world.
