Forty One North is one of Newport’s most iconic waterfront hospitality destinations – a stylish hotel and restaurant complex where guests come for fresh New England seafood, sunset cocktails and a true coastal experience. As part of the team, you’ll be at the heart of the action all summer long.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables quickly and accurately
- Working closely with servers, bartenders and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly
- Setting, clearing and resetting tables during busy service periods
- Restocking service stations with cutlery, glassware, napkins and condiments
- Answering basic guest questions and helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
- Supporting the team with general cleanliness and closing duties

- $6.00 per hour base rate plus tips – food runners at busy waterfront venues often significantly increase their earnings through tip share
- 38 hours per week guaranteed schedule, with the possibility of extra hours during peak season

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English and confidence speaking with guests
- Energy, speed and the ability to stay calm during busy dinner rushes
- Ability to stand, walk and carry trays for the full length of a shift
- A positive, team-first attitude and strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- No previous experience required – full training provided
