Imagine finishing your shift, grabbing your towel and walking straight onto one of the most famous beaches on the US East Coast. That’s daily life at the Harrison Group Holiday Inn Oceanfront 67th Street, a landmark hotel sitting directly on the sand in Ocean City, Maryland. We’re looking for energetic, reliable international students to join our Housekeeping team for the Summer to Fall season.
About the Position
As a Housekeeper, you are the person who makes a guest’s vacation feel perfect from the moment they open the door. It’s an active, fast-paced role where your work is visible, appreciated and rewarded – guests in Ocean City are known for leaving generous tips for great service.
- Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, bathrooms and balconies to hotel brand standards
- Changing bed linens, making beds and replacing towels and amenities
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sanitising surfaces
- Restocking your housekeeping cart and managing supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to your supervisor
- Keeping hallways, elevators and public areas tidy
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping with simple requests
Pay & Benefits
- $15.00 per hour
- 35 hours per week guaranteed, with the possibility of extra hours during peak weekends
- Tips included – guests frequently leave cash tips in the rooms, boosting your weekly earnings
- Paid on-the-job training – no previous experience needed

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Basic conversational English
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and physical stamina (you’ll be on your feet and lifting linens)
- Positive attitude and willingness to work weekends and holidays – that’s when the beach is busiest!
- Reliable, punctual and a great team player
- Availability from summer through to the fall season
