What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting and seating guests with a genuine smile and positive energy
- Presenting menus, answering questions, and recommending house specialties
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and entering them into the POS system
- Delivering pizzas, pastas, and beverages promptly to tables
- Checking in with guests to ensure a great dining experience
- Processing payments and handling cash and card transactions
- Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables between guests
- Supporting teammates during the busy boardwalk rush hours
- Maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards in the dining area

Position Details & Benefits
- Position: Server
- Pay: $6.05 per hour plus tips – tipped servers on the boardwalk often significantly increase their total earnings during peak season
- Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Season: Summer through Fall – one of the longest seasons available, meaning more weeks of earning
- Location: Directly on the Ocean City Boardwalk – walk to work, walk to the beach
- Real hospitality experience for your CV and a strong reference from a U.S. employer
- Daily English practice with American guests – your fluency will skyrocket
What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
- Conversational to good English communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality and a true team spirit
- Ability to stay calm, fast, and polite during busy rushes
- Comfortable standing and moving for the length of a shift
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn – previous experience is a plus but not required
