The Great Escape Lodge is a year-round resort hotel connected to a massive indoor waterpark, sitting right next to The Great Escape amusement park. Families arrive from all over the northeastern United States, which means your days are busy, fast-paced and full of conversations in real American English – perfect for students who want to genuinely improve their language skills and confidence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting and serving guests at the Lodge’s restaurants, cafés, snack bars and poolside outlets
- Taking food and drink orders and operating the point-of-sale (cash register) system
- Preparing and plating simple food items such as pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads and desserts
- Restocking food, beverages and supplies throughout your shift
- Keeping counters, dining areas, and kitchen work stations clean and sanitized to strict health standards
- Working as part of an international team to deliver friendly, memorable guest service

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English – you’ll be talking with guests all day
- A friendly, energetic attitude and willingness to smile through busy shifts

- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- Availability from summer into the fall season
- No previous experience required – full training is provided
