Beach Rider Amusements at the legendary Broadway at the Beach is looking for energetic international students to join their team as Attraction Attendants for the Work & Travel USA program. If you love people, movement and a workplace that never feels boring, this is your summer job.

Broadway at the Beach is Myrtle Beach’s number one entertainment destination – a 350-acre complex packed with rides, attractions, restaurants, shops, nightlife and a beautiful lake at its center. Millions of visitors pass through every year, which means your days will be fast-paced, social and full of new faces from all over the world.

Your Responsibilities as an Attraction Attendant

• Welcoming and greeting guests with a friendly, positive attitude
• Safely loading and unloading riders, checking restraints and height requirements
• Operating ride controls and following all safety procedures and checklists
• Selling and scanning tickets or wristbands, handling basic cash and card transactions
• Giving clear safety instructions and answering guest questions
• Keeping the attraction area clean, tidy and presentable throughout the shift
• Assisting supervisors with opening and closing duties

Pay & Working Conditions

• Hourly rate: $12.00 per hour
• Tips: Yes – guests often tip friendly, high-energy attendants
• Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week, with the possibility of extra hours during peak season
• Season: Summer to Fall
• Position type: Outdoor / indoor amusement environment, standing role with lots of guest interaction

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 enrolled in the Work & Travel USA program
• Conversational to good English – you will speak with guests all day
• Outgoing, smiling and service-oriented personality
• Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in warm weather
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility (safety comes first!)
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays – that’s when the fun happens
