Housekeeper (Early Arrival) – Medora, North Dakota

Ready to trade lecture halls for the wide-open skies of the American West? A respected Foundation in the historic town of Medora, North Dakota is looking for motivated Work & Travel students to join its housekeeping team for the 2026 season. This is an early arrival position, which means you get more weeks in the USA, more paychecks, and more time to explore before the summer crowds arrive.

About the Job

As a Housekeeper you will play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for thousands of visitors who travel to Medora each year. Your daily duties will include:

  • Cleaning and preparing guest rooms, cabins and lodge areas to a high standard
  • Changing bed linens, making beds and refreshing towels and amenities
  • Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sanitizing bathrooms and common areas
  • Restocking housekeeping carts and supplies
  • Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to your supervisor
  • Working as part of a friendly international team and supporting colleagues during busy check-out days

Requirements

  • Full-time university student aged 18–25, eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
  • Conversational English (intermediate level or above)
  • Ability to work on your feet, bend, lift and move around throughout the shift
  • Attention to detail, reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • Availability to arrive by mid-March 2026 and stay for the full season
