Ready to trade lecture halls for the Golden Arches? SIJ Enterprise – McDonald’s Denbigh Crossings is looking for energetic international students to join its crew on Jefferson Avenue in Newport News, Virginia. This is the perfect Work & Travel USA placement for students who love fast-paced teamwork, friendly guests and a paycheck that lets them explore America.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Crew Member, no two shifts look the same. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Greeting guests at the front counter and drive-thru with genuine American hospitality
- Taking orders accurately and handling payments on modern POS systems
- Preparing burgers, fries, breakfast items and beverages to McDonald’s world-famous standards
- Keeping the kitchen, dining room and service areas clean, stocked and sparkling
- Working shoulder-to-shoulder with a supportive team during busy lunch and dinner rushes
Your Package
- Hourly rate: $13.50 per hour
- Hours: approximately 35 hours per week, with potential for additional shifts
- Season: Summer through Fall — one of the longest and most profitable Work & Travel periods
- Training: full paid on-the-job training from experienced managers

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational English and confidence talking to customers

- No previous experience required — just enthusiasm!
