The job as Front Desk
What you'll do
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
- Process reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest requests.
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and activities in the Juneau area.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and work to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate guest records and protect guest privacy and confidential information.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other hotel departments.
- Monitor room availability and assist with coordinating room readiness.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures, including cash-handling, security, and emergency procedures.
- Assist guests with special requests and provide additional support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.
