The job as Bistro Attendant
What you'll do
- Deliver exceptional guest service in a courteous and professional manner
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, specialty drinks, and food items according to recipe and presentation standards
- Take guest orders, process transactions through the POS system, and handle cash accurately
- Prepare food items and operate equipment, including the Turbo Chef, safely and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of menus, specials, hotel services, and promotions
- Communicate guest allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen
- Stock, replenish, and maintain displays to ensure product freshness and presentation
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, equipment, seating areas, storage areas, and displays
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, product rotation, labeling, storage, and cold chain procedures
- Ensure quality standards are met and notify management of product concerns
- Follow cash handling, auditing, key control, and property security procedures
- Balance cash banks, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies
- Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries according to company standards
- Assist with training new team members as assigned
