We're hiring Room Attendants for the Summer to Fall season, and we're looking for energetic university students ready for the adventure of a lifetime through the Work & Travel USA program.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to the lodge's high standards – making beds, changing linens, and refreshing towels
• Vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms and living areas
• Restocking amenities and supplies for arriving guests
• Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to your supervisor
• Working efficiently as part of a friendly, international housekeeping team
• Greeting guests with a warm smile and helping create unforgettable Alaskan memories

• Restocking service stations with silverware, glassware, napkins and condiments

• Keeping dining areas, floors and service zones spotless and guest-ready

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating commercial dishwashing machines and hand-washing pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Keeping the dish pit, kitchen floors, and work stations clean, organized, and sanitary
• Sorting, stacking, and restocking clean dishes, glassware, and silverware for the culinary and service teams
• Taking out trash, breaking down boxes, and supporting recycling and waste programs
• Assisting chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep or stocking tasks when needed
• Following all health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Managing the waiting list, seating charts and table rotations to keep service flowing smoothly

• Communicating with servers, kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth, efficient service
• Keeping the host stand and entrance areas clean, organized and inviting

Denali is home to North America's tallest peak, grizzly bears, moose, caribou and wolves. On your days off you can hike alpine trails, go whitewater rafting, take a flightseeing tour over the glaciers, ride an ATV through the backcountry, or simply relax in the buzzing seasonal village of Glitter Gulch, where hundreds of international students live and work every summer. Your Responsibilities

• Washing, peeling, chopping and portioning fresh vegetables, fruits, meats and seafood
• Preparing sauces, soups, salads, dressings and other menu items following recipes
• Assisting line cooks and chefs during busy breakfast, lunch and dinner services
• Labeling, dating, rotating and storing products according to food safety standards
• Keeping workstations, coolers and equipment clean, organized and sanitized
• Receiving deliveries and helping with inventory and stock rotation
• Supporting the kitchen team wherever an extra pair of hands is needed
