We’re hiring international university students for the Laundry/Room Attendant position for the Summer to Fall season. If you’re energetic, reliable and ready for the adventure of a lifetime, this is your ticket to the Last Frontier.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to Alaska Collection’s high standards (making beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathroom care)
- Restocking amenities, linens and supplies
- Operating commercial washers and dryers – washing, drying, folding and sorting lodge linens
- Delivering fresh linens to housekeeping carts and storage areas
- Reporting maintenance issues and lost & found items
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and sharing your favourite local tips

Life in Seward, Alaska
Seward is a postcard-perfect town of about 2,700 people on the shore of Resurrection Bay, roughly 2.5 hours from Anchorage. It’s the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park and home to the famous Mount Marathon race, the Alaska SeaLife Center and endless hiking, fishing and wildlife-watching. Summer days stretch to nearly 20 hours of daylight – so there’s plenty of time to explore after work. Bears, bald eagles, puffins, sea lions and orcas are your new neighbours!
What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English and a positive, guest-focused attitude
- Good physical stamina – you’ll be on your feet, bending and lifting up to ~11 kg
- Attention to detail and pride in a job well done
- Team spirit, punctuality and flexibility (weekends and holidays included)
- Availability for the full Summer to Fall season – late arrivals into September/October are a big plus
