Nestled in the lush Resurrection River Valley, just minutes from the world-famous Exit Glacier and Kenai Fjords National Park, Seward Windsong Lodge welcomes travelers from around the globe. We’re looking for energetic, reliable university students to join our housekeeping team and help create unforgettable guest experiences.
Your Role: Laundry / Room Attendant
As a Room and Laundry Attendant, you’re the heart of our guest experience. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to Alaska Collection’s high standards – making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing bathrooms
- Restocking amenities, linens and supplies
- Operating commercial washers and dryers; sorting, folding and organizing laundry
- Maintaining cleanliness in public areas, hallways and back-of-house spaces
- Reporting maintenance issues and lost & found items
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping create a warm, welcoming lodge atmosphere
Pay & Benefits
- $15.75 per hour – one of the strongest starting rates in the Work & Travel program
- 40 guaranteed hours per week, with overtime opportunities during peak season

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English communication skills
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 kg during shifts
- Positive, team-oriented attitude – our team is your Alaskan family
- Availability for the full summer-to-fall season, including weekends and holidays
