About the Employer
Element Bozeman is a modern, eco-conscious hotel in one of America’s fastest-growing mountain towns. The property is known for its bright, nature-inspired design and a team culture that genuinely welcomes international students. Managers here are used to hosting Work & Travel participants every season, so you’ll be trained, supported and treated as part of the family from day one.
Your Role & Daily Duties
- Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, studios and suites to brand standards
- Changing bed linens, making beds and restocking towels and amenities
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sanitising bathrooms and kitchenettes
- Maintaining tidy hallways, lobbies and other public areas
- Restocking and organising housekeeping carts and supply closets
- Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items to your supervisor
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping with simple requests
Pay & Schedule
- Hourly rate: $18.00 per hour
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
- Season: Summer through Fall
- Tips: Not offered – your strong hourly wage is your guaranteed income
- Mostly daytime shifts, leaving your evenings free for adventures
At $18/hour and 40 hours per week, you can expect roughly $720 gross per week – one of the strongest base rates in the Work & Travel program, with no reliance on tips.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled university student, age 18–25
- Valid Work & Travel USA (J-1) programme participation
- Conversational English – enough to understand instructions and greet guests
- Good physical stamina: the role involves standing, bending and lifting
- Attention to detail, reliability and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Availability for the full Summer-to-Fall season
