That’s everyday life at Kampgrounds of America (KOA) Cape Hatteras in Rodanthe, North Carolina — a legendary spot on the Outer Banks where sand dunes, kiteboarders and endless summer sunsets are your new neighbours.
We’re hiring international university students for our Housekeeping team for the Summer-to-Fall season. If you’re reliable, energetic and ready for a genuine American beach-town summer, this is your Work & Travel USA adventure.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and preparing cabins, deluxe lodges and camping accommodations for arriving guests
- Changing bed linens, making beds and refreshing towels and amenities
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising bathrooms and kitchenettes
- Maintaining spotless public areas such as restrooms, bathhouses, laundry rooms and recreation spaces
- Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues to the team
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping create a five-star camping experience

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18-25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
- Conversational English and a positive, guest-focused attitude

- Physical stamina — the role involves standing, bending, lifting and lots of movement
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays (our busiest, most fun times!)
- Team spirit, punctuality and a willingness to learn
