Toss Dough, Make Friends, Live the Beach Summer
Imagine finishing your shift, walking a few blocks, and sinking your toes into the warm sand of the Atlantic Ocean. That’s daily life at Piezanos Pizza North in Ocean City, Maryland – one of the East Coast’s most legendary summer destinations. We’re looking for energetic Work & Travel USA students to join our kitchen crew as Cooks, earning $16 per hour for a guaranteed 40 hours per week from summer through fall.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cook at Piezanos Pizza North, you’ll be at the heart of the action in a fast-paced, high-energy pizzeria kitchen. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and stretching fresh pizza dough, saucing, topping, and baking pizzas to golden perfection
- Preparing subs, salads, appetizers, pasta dishes and other menu favorites
- Setting up and stocking prep stations before service and keeping ingredients fresh and ready
- Following recipes and portion standards so every order tastes exactly right
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe kitchen in line with U.S. food safety and sanitation rules
- Working closely with fellow cooks, servers and managers to keep tickets moving during busy beach-season rushes

What We Offer
- $16.00 per hour – a strong, reliable wage with no tips required to reach it
- 40 hours per week with the potential for extra hours during peak season
- An extended season from summer into fall, so you can maximize your earnings and stay after the Labor Day rush
- Hands-on training – previous experience is helpful, but we’ll teach you the Piezanos way

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 enrolled in the Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English – enough to understand orders, recipes and safety instructions
- A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long shifts and work comfortably in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Team spirit – our kitchen runs on cooperation and good energy
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
