Imagine finishing your shift, walking a few blocks, and sinking your toes into the warm sand of the Atlantic Ocean. That’s daily life at Piezanos Pizza North in Ocean City, Maryland – one of the East Coast’s most legendary summer destinations. We’re looking for energetic Work & Travel USA students to join our kitchen crew as Cooks, earning $16 per hour for a guaranteed 40 hours per week from summer through fall.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Cook at Piezanos Pizza North, you’ll be at the heart of the action in a fast-paced, high-energy pizzeria kitchen. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and stretching fresh pizza dough, saucing, topping, and baking pizzas to golden perfection
• Preparing subs, salads, appetizers, pasta dishes and other menu favorites
• Setting up and stocking prep stations before service and keeping ingredients fresh and ready
• Following recipes and portion standards so every order tastes exactly right
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe kitchen in line with U.S. food safety and sanitation rules
• Working closely with fellow cooks, servers and managers to keep tickets moving during busy beach-season rushes

You’ll be surrounded by thousands of J-1 students from around the world, making it incredibly easy to build friendships, share housing and explore together.

On your days off, hit the beach, rent a bike on the Boardwalk, go kayaking in the bay, watch the wild ponies at nearby Assateague Island, or take a weekend trip to Washington D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia or New York City – all just a few hours away.

What We Offer

• $16.00 per hour – a strong, reliable wage with no tips required to reach it
• 40 hours per week with the potential for extra hours during peak season

• Hands-on training – previous experience is helpful, but we’ll teach you the Piezanos way

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 enrolled in the Work & Travel USA program
• Conversational English – enough to understand orders, recipes and safety instructions
• A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for long shifts and work comfortably in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Team spirit – our kitchen runs on cooperation and good energy
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
