That’s everyday life when you join Sanedsam Inc dba Foot Traffic as a Retail Sales Associate in Old Orchard Beach, Maine — one of New England’s most iconic beach towns and a legendary destination for Work & Travel USA students.

From 15 May 2026 to 15 September 2026, you’ll earn $18.00 per hour for 32 hours per week, gain real international retail experience, and make friends from every corner of the world.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming customers with a friendly smile and helping them find the perfect footwear, apparel, and beach essentials
• Providing product recommendations, sizing assistance, and honest advice
• Operating the cash register and processing card and cash transactions
• Restocking shelves, organizing displays, and keeping the sales floor clean and inviting
• Receiving deliveries, tagging merchandise, and supporting inventory counts
• Assisting with fitting rooms, returns, and exchanges
• Working as part of a fast, fun, high-energy summer team

Why Old Orchard Beach?

Old Orchard Beach is a classic American seaside resort town with 7 miles of sandy beach, a historic pier, an amusement park (Palace Playland), arcades, fried dough stands, live music, and spectacular fireworks every Thursday night in summer. It’s small enough to walk everywhere and lively enough that there’s always something happening after work.

You’ll be about 20 minutes from Portland, Maine’s coolest small city, famous for lobster rolls, lighthouses, and craft breweries. Boston is a short bus or train ride away, and New York City is an easy weekend trip. Maine summers are warm, sunny, and perfect for beach days, hiking, and exploring the New England coast.

Who We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
• Conversational English — you’ll be talking to customers all day
• Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoy helping people
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work weekends, evenings, and holidays (peak beach season!)
• Able to stand for your shift and lift boxes of stock
• Available for the full period from 15 May to 15 September 2026
• No previous retail experience required — a positive attitude matters most
