Tucked deep inside Olympic National Park near Port Angeles, Washington, this legendary resort welcomes travellers from all over the world — and this summer, you can be part of the team that makes it happen.
This is a Work & Travel USA opportunity built for adventurous university students who want more than a city job. You’ll earn $17.75 per hour, work approximately 32 hours per week, and spend your season in one of the most spectacular natural settings in North America.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Back of House Resort Worker, you’re the engine that keeps the resort running smoothly behind the scenes. Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines
- Assisting cooks with basic food prep — washing, peeling, chopping and portioning
- Keeping kitchen areas, storage rooms and work stations clean, organised and sanitary
- Receiving deliveries, stocking shelves and rotating inventory
- Taking out rubbish, recycling and supporting general resort housekeeping tasks as needed
- Following all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
- Supporting your teammates during busy service periods with a positive, can-do attitude

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 programme
- Conversational English — enough to understand instructions and work with a team
- Physical stamina: you’ll be standing, lifting and moving throughout your shift
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Comfort living in a remote natural setting with limited mobile signal and internet
