Medora is a legendary Old West town of just a few hundred residents that welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each season. The Foundation is the heartbeat of this community, operating hotels, attractions, dining venues and the world-famous Medora Musical. You’ll be right at the centre of it all.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests with a warm smile, checking them in and out efficiently
- Answering phone calls, emails and in-person questions about reservations, rooms and rates
- Recommending local attractions, hiking trails, restaurants and events – you’ll become a true Medora expert
- Processing payments and handling cash and card transactions accurately
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to make sure every guest has a perfect stay
- Solving guest requests and small issues with patience, creativity and a positive attitude
- Keeping the lobby and front desk area tidy, organised and inviting

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 programme
- Conversational to good English communication skills
- A friendly, outgoing personality and genuine desire to help people
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional appearance
- Basic computer skills and comfort with learning a reservation system
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- No prior hotel experience required – full training is provided
