The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is looking for enthusiastic international students to join its retail team as Retail Sales Attendants for the Summer to Fall season.
Medora is one of America’s most beloved seasonal destinations – a historic frontier town at the gateway to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Every year, thousands of visitors come here for the scenery, the history and the hospitality, and you’ll be right at the heart of the action, helping create unforgettable memories for guests from all over the United States and the world.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests with a smile and helping them find the perfect souvenir, Western apparel, gift or local specialty
- Operating the cash register and handling cash, card and mobile payments accurately
- Restocking shelves, arranging attractive product displays and keeping the shop floor tidy and inviting
- Answering questions about products, the town of Medora and local attractions
- Assisting with inventory, receiving deliveries and light merchandising tasks
- Working as part of a friendly, international and American team to deliver top-quality guest service

Who We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 enrolled in a Work & Travel USA program (J-1 visa)
- Good conversational English and confidence talking with customers
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong service attitude
- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light boxes during restocking
- Flexibility and a genuine desire to experience small-town American life
- Availability for the full Summer to Fall season
