The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is looking for enthusiastic international students to join its retail and ticketing team in the historic Old West town of Medora, North Dakota – the gateway to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and home of the legendary Medora Musical.
About the Position
As a Retail and Ticketing Representative, you will be one of the first friendly faces guests meet when they arrive in Medora. You’ll help visitors from all over the world plan their adventures, choose souvenirs and get excited about everything the Badlands have to offer.
- Welcome and assist guests at retail shops and ticket offices
- Sell tickets for the Medora Musical, Pitchfork Steak Fondue and other attractions
- Operate the cash register and process card and cash payments accurately
- Recommend souvenirs, Western apparel, gifts and local products
- Restock shelves, arrange merchandise displays and keep the shop tidy
- Answer questions about attractions, show times, trails and the local area
- Work as part of an international, energetic team of seasonal staff

Requirements
- Full-time university student, aged 18–25, eligible for the Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational to good English (you’ll be talking with guests all day)
- Friendly, outgoing and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working in a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced summer season
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays and flexible shifts
- Availability from early summer through the fall season
