As a Resort Worker with Xanterra at Glacier National Park in West Columbia Falls, Montana, this is simply your everyday life. What You’ll Be Doing
Resort Worker is a flexible, hands-on role inside one of America’s most iconic national park resorts. Depending on the needs of the property and your strengths, your duties may include:
- Welcoming and assisting guests in the lodge, dining room, gift shop or front desk area
- Serving food and beverages, bussing tables and setting up dining spaces
- Supporting kitchen operations with prep work and dishwashing
- Housekeeping tasks such as preparing guest rooms and cabins to a high standard
- Keeping public areas, patios and lobbies clean, tidy and welcoming
- Helping with retail, stocking, deliveries and general resort upkeep
- Answering guest questions about trails, shuttles and park highlights
You’ll rotate through real hospitality skills that look fantastic on any CV — teamwork, customer service, time management and communication in English with people from all over the world.
Your Location: West Columbia Falls, Montana

Pay & Benefits
- $10.50 per hour with tips on top in tip-eligible positions
- 40 hours per week guaranteed, with overtime often available during peak season

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA (J-1) program
- Conversational English and a genuine willingness to talk with guests
- Positive, flexible attitude — mountain resorts need team players
- Physical stamina for active shifts, standing, walking and light lifting
- Ability to live and work in a remote, nature-based environment
- Availability for the full summer-to-fall season
