What You'll Be Doing

As a Food Runner, you are the vital link between the kitchen and the guest. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guest tables
  • Ensuring every plate meets presentation standards before it leaves the pass
  • Supporting servers and bussers during busy breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
  • Clearing and resetting tables, restocking service stations, and keeping dining areas spotless
  • Assisting with polishing glassware, cutlery, and plateware
  • Communicating with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to keep service flowing smoothly
  • Greeting guests warmly and answering basic questions about menu items

What We're Looking For

  • University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA (J-1) program
  • Conversational English skills and a confident, friendly attitude
  • Ability to stay on your feet, move quickly, and lift trays during busy shifts
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team spirit
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but full training is provided
