What You’ll Be Doing
As a Food Runner, you are the vital link between the kitchen and the guest. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Delivering food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guest tables
- Ensuring every plate meets presentation standards before it leaves the pass
- Supporting servers and bussers during busy breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
- Clearing and resetting tables, restocking service stations, and keeping dining areas spotless
- Assisting with polishing glassware, cutlery, and plateware
- Communicating with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to keep service flowing smoothly
- Greeting guests warmly and answering basic questions about menu items

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA (J-1) program
- Conversational English skills and a confident, friendly attitude
- Ability to stay on your feet, move quickly, and lift trays during busy shifts
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team spirit
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but full training is provided
