Momentum of Charlevoix is looking for energetic, friendly international university students to join the team as Store Associates. If you enjoy meeting new people, practising your English every single day and being part of a fast-moving retail environment, this is the job for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming customers with a smile and helping them find exactly what they're looking for
• Operating the cash register and processing card and cash payments
• Restocking shelves, organising displays and keeping merchandise looking sharp
• Receiving deliveries, unpacking boxes and helping with inventory counts
• Keeping the sales floor, fitting areas and storage space clean and tidy
• Answering questions about products, sizes, prices and store promotions
• Supporting your teammates during busy summer tourist rushes

The Package

• $20.00 per hour – one of the strongest rates in the Work & Travel programme
• 45 hours per week – excellent earning potential across the whole season
• Summer to Fall placement – enjoy warm lake days and then the incredible Michigan autumn colours
• Real customer-service experience for your CV and daily English practice with native speakers
• A friendly team, a safe small-town environment and the chance to travel across the USA after your programme ends

What We're Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 programme
• Conversational English – confident enough to chat with customers
• A positive, reliable and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes of merchandise
• Team players who are ready to work weekends and holidays during the busy season
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required – full training provided
