SB Port Inn and Suites Kennebunk is looking for energetic university students to join its Housekeeping team for the Summer to Fall season – one of the most beautiful times of the year on the Maine coast.
Kennebunk and neighbouring Kennebunkport are among New England's most beloved seaside destinations, famous for their beaches, lobster shacks, boutique shops and friendly small-town atmosphere. Working here means you get to live like a local in a place most tourists only visit for a weekend.
What You'll Be Doing
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and suites to a high standard – making beds, changing linens and towels
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising bathrooms and living areas
- Restocking guest amenities, toiletries and supplies
- Keeping hallways, common areas and housekeeping storage tidy and organised
- Collecting and sorting laundry and reporting maintenance issues to your supervisor
- Greeting guests with a smile and helping deliver a memorable stay
Position Highlights
- Hourly Rate: $15.10 per hour
- Tips: Yes – guests in this area are known for tipping housekeepers generously
- Hours: Approximately 38 hours per week, with the possibility of extra hours during peak season
- Season: Summer to Fall – enjoy warm beach days and the start of Maine's famous autumn foliage
- Location: Kennebunk, Maine – close to Portland (approx. 30 min) and Boston (approx. 1.5 hr)
