Why Traverse City?
Traverse City is the crown jewel of northern Michigan – famous for its National Cherry Festival, award-winning wineries, and the breathtaking Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Your days off will be filled with swimming in crystal-clear Grand Traverse Bay, kayaking, cycling the TART Trail, exploring downtown Front Street cafés, and catching unforgettable sunsets over the water.
The town is safe, welcoming, walkable and packed with international students every summer – which means an instant social circle and friendships from all over the world.
About the area
