Positions include custodian, busser, housekeeper/laundry attendant, gift shop retail associate, host/cashier and front desk agent. Housing owned or arranged by the employer is guaranteed for everyone hired, though you may look for your own place instead, and a second job is likely to be available.
Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant
General information
Job duties
- Responsible for the daily cleaning of the guest rooms and ensure laundry is being washed, dried and folded
- Work with all staff to provide prompt service and guest satisfaction
- Make sound judgments and anticipate issues and opportunities
- Ensure that guests' special needs are met
- Follow housekeeping and laundry scheduled days
- Work closely with and facilitate information to the Housekeeping Managers to assure guest needs and information are communicated effectively
- Display effective communication skills and a high sense of integrity
- Keep work areas clean, neat and organized
- Obtain goals set by Housekeeping Managers
- Ensure that every room is cleaned to the high standards of the lodge
- Properly stock housekeeping carts
- Fill and empty washers and dryers, fold towels, sheets and pillowcases
- Report maintenance problems and fill out appropriate forms
- Follow trained procedures of chemical use and cleaning procedures
- Complete team side work
- Perform other duties as assigned
