As part of the Housekeeping Crew – Early Shift at Aramark Destinations Denali Park Village, that’s your everyday reality. This is one of the most iconic Work & Travel USA placements available – a summer-to-fall season inside Denali National Park, Alaska.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a member of the early housekeeping crew, you are the reason guests fall in love with their Alaskan stay. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, cabins and public areas to Aramark’s high standards
• Changing linens, making beds and restocking amenities and supplies
• Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sanitising bathrooms
• Collecting and transporting laundry and waste to designated areas
• Reporting maintenance issues and lost-and-found items
• Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping with simple requests

The early shift typically starts in the morning, which means your afternoons and evenings are free to explore – a huge advantage in a place where daylight lasts nearly 20 hours in summer.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.00 per hour, approximately 40 hours per week

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 on a valid J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
• Availability from summer through fall (early start and late finish preferred)
• Conversational English and a positive, guest-focused attitude
• Physical stamina – the role involves standing, bending, lifting and walking for most of the shift
• Reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team
• A sense of adventure and comfort living in a remote, small-community setting
