General information
Job duties
- Provide all aspects of exceptional guest service via WEST
- Use and be proficient with Retail Pro
- Handle cash transactions
- Make a variety of Espresso drinks in a consistent manner
- Talk with clients about Coffee and Espresso and explain the differences
- Use good technique in milk foaming and pulling espresso shots
- Maintain sanitation practices to prevent cross-contamination of allergens
- Clean equipment daily
- Prep, stock, and prepare for next day business so the next shift is set up
- Maintain awareness of all promotional items and suggest designated items during guest interactions
- Clean bathrooms, common areas, windows, tables & table legs, counter tops, doors and walls

Requirements
- Enrolled university student, aged 18–25, eligible for the Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational to good English (you’ll speak with guests every day)
- Friendly, energetic personality and a positive attitude
- Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting stock boxes
- Ability to stay through the full season (summer into fall) is strongly preferred
- Prior cashier, retail, or café experience is a plus but not required – training is provided
