Wake Up to Denali Every Morning

Imagine starting your shift with a view of Denali – the highest mountain in North America – rising 20,310 feet above the spruce forests. That’s just another Tuesday at HAP Mt McKinley Princess Transportation Division in Trapper Creek, Alaska. We’re looking for energetic university students to join our Fleet Detailing team and help keep our motorcoaches and vehicles road-ready for guests exploring the Last Frontier.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Fleet Detailer, you’re the reason our vehicles look showroom-fresh every single day. Your daily duties include:

• Washing, rinsing, and hand-drying motorcoaches, vans, and support vehicles
• Vacuuming interiors, wiping down seats, windows, and dashboards
• Cleaning windshields and mirrors to guarantee crystal-clear mountain views for guests
• Restocking vehicle supplies and checking basic fluid levels
• Reporting maintenance issues to the transportation team
• Keeping the wash bay, tools, and detailing equipment organized and safe
• Supporting drivers and dispatch during busy departure windows

In your free time you can go flightseeing over Denali, raft the Chulitna River, hike the Kesugi Ridge trail, spot moose and bears, fish for salmon, and – as the season shifts to fall – watch the tundra turn gold and red while the northern lights return to the night sky. Anchorage and Talkeetna are within easy reach for weekend trips.

Pay & Benefits

• $16.00 per hour
• 35 hours per week with a consistent schedule
• Season: Summer to Fall – one of the longest Work & Travel seasons available

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 on the Work & Travel USA program
• Conversational English communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented – you notice the smudge everyone else misses
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work outdoors in variable Alaskan weather
• Team player with a positive, guest-focused attitude
• Ability to stay through the full season (summer into fall)
• No previous experience required – full training provided
