About the employer
HAP Skagway Transportation Division is part of Holland America Princess Alaska – Yukon, a land operation owned jointly by Holland America Line and Princess Cruises, both part of Carnival Corporation, one of the world's largest vacation companies. It's based in Skagway, a small Alaskan port town at the north end of Lynn Canal, with around 700 year-round residents and over 750,000 visitors a year.
Work here is about service for guests of different cruise lines, so teamwork matters: if you're not serving a guest, you're serving someone who is. Skagway keeps its 1898 Klondike Gold Rush charm, and the historic Chilkoot Trail is nearby. There's also a referral program paying up to $400 per person you refer.

Why Skagway?
Skagway is a tiny town with a giant reputation. Once the gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush, today it’s one of Alaska’s most beloved destinations, with wooden boardwalks, historic saloons and a population that multiplies every time a cruise ship docks. Beyond the town limits you’ll find the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, hiking trails like the Chilkoot Trail, glaciers, waterfalls, bald eagles and endless summer daylight for exploring after your shift. The Canadian Yukon is just a short drive away.
Best of all, you’ll be surrounded by a huge international crew of seasonal workers – students from all over the world who arrive as strangers and leave as lifelong friends.
