Job duties
- Sort and stack clean dishes
- Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas
- Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
- Wash pots, pans and trays
- Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
- Set up or break down dishwashing area
- Sweep/mop floors and wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
- Notify Manager anytime dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
- Other duties as directed

Life in Ocean City, Maryland
Ocean City is a 10-mile stretch of Atlantic beach, a 3-mile boardwalk packed with arcades, amusement rides, pizza joints and ice cream stands, and thousands of international students every summer. Harbor Watch sits at the very end of the Boardwalk with panoramic bay views and legendary sunsets. In your free time you can surf, kayak, bike the Boardwalk at sunrise, watch the wild horses of Assateague Island, or take weekend trips to Washington D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City – all within a few hours.
What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a J-1 Work & Travel programme
- Basic conversational English – enough to understand instructions and work as a team
- Strong work ethic, punctuality and reliability
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 20–25 kg
- Comfortable working in a hot, humid, high-energy kitchen environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays – the busiest and most fun times
