Homestead Campground is a seasonal vacation site in Georgetown, Delaware, open to guests from May 1st to September 30th. It offers full-season and short-term recreational vehicle camping as well as cabin rentals, just a few miles from the Delaware beaches and boardwalks, outlet shopping and plenty of places to eat.
Working here means being part of an active community with free activities and events for guests and staff – Memorial Day and 4th of July celebrations, golf cart decorating contests and parades, food and live music on weekends. Housing is $70. Washington DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia are a few hours away for day trips.
The job as Custodial/Cleaning
What you'll do
- Perform cleaning tasks in cabins, showers, rest rooms, laundry facilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in community center, game room, Wi-Fi lounge
- Inspect and clean common areas including tables/chairs in pavilion, community center, pool area, etc.
- Collect and remove trash

Housing
You'll stay in an air-conditioned apartment with your own separate locking bedroom (single occupancy, rooms are not co-ed), sharing a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and enclosed porch. Linens, towels, large closets, Comcast WiFi, phone service and 24-hour onsite laundry are included. The housing is on the campground where you work.
