The job as Housekeeping/General Resort Worker
What you'll do
- Perform general duties such as laundry, restocking towels at pool, delivering items to tents, taking guests to tents, restocking retail and other areas of the resort
- Clean guest tents, lodge, public building restrooms and common areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper to Terramor Outdoor Resort's standards
- Clean tents including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing glassware and coffee maker/kettle, emptying trash, and replenishing guest supplies
- Report any damage, repairs needed or safety concerns to Supervisor
- Assist guests with their questions or requests
- Have a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Report and properly record all lost and found items
- Always interact with guests and employees in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner
- Assist team members to ensure high standards for service are achieved for all guests and employees

Pay and hours
Housing
The employer guarantees housing on property, less than a two-minute walk from the main lodge, and you may also find your own. Amenities include TV, refrigerator, bedding/linen, microwave, telephone, utensils, private bath, air conditioning, cookware and stovetop. A free Island Explorer bus stops onsite hourly to Bar Harbor, plus a weekly staff shuttle to Ellsworth.
