Location Highlights: Doswell, Virginia
Kings Dominion sits on 400 acres just 30 minutes north of Richmond and about 90 minutes south of Washington, D.C. – so your days off can be spent exploring the U.S. capital, the Smithsonian museums, historic Colonial Williamsburg, or the beaches of Virginia Beach.
The park itself is home to more than 60 rides and attractions, including the iconic Twisted Timbers and Intimidator 305 coasters, plus the huge Soak City water park. In autumn, the park transforms for Halloween Haunt, one of the biggest and most exciting seasonal events on the East Coast.
