- Answers guests' questions
- Establishes forms of payment and verifies guests' credit
- Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts
- Posts charges for rooms, food, liquor or telephone calls
- Reviews account and charges with guests during the check-out process
- Computes bills, collects payments, cash handling and making change for guests
- Answers telephone calls, transmits and receives messages
- Contacts housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems

What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests with a genuine smile and completing check-in and check-out procedures
- Handling reservations, room assignments, and payments using the hotel’s property management system
- Answering phone calls and emails, and responding to guest questions and requests
- Recommending the best beaches, restaurants, ferries, and attractions on Cape Cod
- Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to keep everything running smoothly
- Resolving guest concerns quickly, calmly, and professionally
- Keeping the lobby and front desk area tidy, organized, and welcoming

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with valid J-1 Work & Travel sponsorship
- Upper-intermediate to advanced spoken English (you’ll be speaking with guests all day)
- A warm, outgoing personality and a genuine desire to help people
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude
- Reliability, punctuality, and the flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills; previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus but not required
