The town is small and remote, without many city conveniences: a few restaurants, gift shops, a gas station and a hardware store, and grocery shopping can be tough. That quiet, remote atmosphere is exactly why tourists come. A summer here suits you if you enjoy nature and a slower pace.
The job as Resort Worker
What you'll do
- Meeting and greeting gift shop guests
- Cash handling and barista duties
- Ice cream service
- Cleaning tables and waiting on customers in the restaurant
- Keeping the front of the house clean, including bathrooms

Housing
The employer provides on-site housing: motel-style rooms about 20 by 20 feet, shared by two students, with a private bathroom and sink, a microwave, a mini fridge and fans. WiFi (Starlink), a landline phone and laundry (6-10 pm on weekdays) are included. The hotel/restaurant is less than a 200-foot walk away.
