Why Shakopee, Minnesota?
Shakopee sits just 25 minutes southwest of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, the vibrant Twin Cities known for lakes, live music, street food, and the legendary Mall of America – the largest shopping mall in the United States. Minnesota summers are made for adventure: swim in one of the state’s 10,000+ lakes, kayak the Minnesota River, bike endless trails, or explore local festivals and farmers’ markets. And because your program runs into the fall, you’ll also catch the beginning of Minnesota’s spectacular autumn colors and the park’s famous ValleyScare Halloween season.
