Imagine clocking in to the sound of arcade games, the smell of grill food drifting across the boardwalk, and the Atlantic Ocean just steps away from your workplace. That’s an average day at Garden City Pavilion Arcade and Gigi’s Grill in Garden City, South Carolina – one of the most beloved beachfront entertainment destinations on the Grand Strand.

We’re looking for energetic, friendly university students to join our team as Booth Attendants for the Summer to Fall season. If you love meeting new people, working in a fast-paced fun environment, and want to spend your Work & Travel USA summer by the ocean, this is your job.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming guests at the game and ticket booth with a big smile
• Handling cash and card transactions, issuing game cards, tokens and tickets
• Explaining games, prices and prize redemption to families and visitors
• Managing the prize counter and helping guests redeem their winnings
• Keeping your booth and the surrounding arcade area clean, tidy and well-stocked
• Answering questions about the arcade, the grill menu and local attractions
• Working together with the arcade and Gigi’s Grill team to keep guests happy

• Position: Booth Attendant
• Pay: $13.00 per hour
• Hours: approximately 35 hours per week
• Season: Summer to Fall

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 on a J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
• Conversational English – you’ll be chatting with guests all shift
• A positive, outgoing attitude and genuine customer service spirit
• Reliability, punctuality and honesty (you’ll be handling money)
• Comfort working evenings, weekends and holidays – that’s when the boardwalk comes alive
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a busy, noisy, fun environment
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
