What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting and checking in guests with genuine warmth and energy
- Managing reservations, room assignments, and check-outs using the property management system
- Answering questions about the lodge, Glacier National Park trails, tours, and local attractions
- Handling payments, invoices, and cash-drawer balancing accurately
- Coordinating with housekeeping, bell staff, and management to resolve guest requests quickly
- Answering phones and emails professionally and taking messages
- Being the go-to problem solver who turns a good stay into an unforgettable one
Location Highlights – East Glacier Park, Montana
East Glacier Park is a tiny mountain village with a huge personality, sitting right on the edge of Glacier National Park and next to the Blackfeet Nation. On your days off you can:
- Hike to Two Medicine Lake, Running Eagle Falls, and Scenic Point
- Ride the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road and spot mountain goats, moose, and bears
- Kayak crystal-clear glacial lakes and stargaze under some of the darkest skies in America
- Experience authentic Montana culture, huckleberry pie, and Blackfeet heritage
- Travel further to Yellowstone, Seattle, or Canada’s Banff after your program
Job Details & Benefits
- Pay: $15.00 per hour
- Hours: approximately 35 hours per week (overtime may be available in peak season)
- Season: Summer to Fall
- Tips: Not applicable for this position

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 program
- Conversational to strong English communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a service-first mindset
- Reliability, punctuality, and comfort working weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills; hospitality or customer-service experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to live and work in a remote, small-town mountain environment
