About the Position
As a Dining Room Attendant, you’ll be part of a lively hospitality team serving guests from all over the world. It’s a fast-paced, social role where no two days look the same — perfect if you enjoy teamwork, movement, and meeting new people.
- Setting and resetting tables quickly and neatly between guests
- Clearing dishes, glassware and cutlery, and transporting them to the dish area
- Refilling water, coffee and condiments, and assisting servers during busy service periods
- Keeping the dining room, service stations and buffet areas clean, stocked and welcoming
- Greeting guests with a friendly attitude and helping create a memorable dining experience
- Following all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
Pay & Benefits
- $10.55 per hour with tips on top — a great boost to your seasonal earnings
- Approximately 35 hours per week, with possible overtime during peak season

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA programme
- Conversational English and confident communication with guests
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong team spirit
- Ability to stand, walk and lift trays throughout your shift
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- No previous experience required — full training is provided
