Professional, neat and presentable. No facial hair for employees in food & beverage positions. Men's hair must be shorter than collar length. Must practice good hygiene - frequent bathing and deodorant is requested. No extreme hairstyles or colors, only one piercing allowed in each ear and you may be asked to cover tattoos.

Imagine waking up to views of the Wrangell–St. Elias mountain range, breathing crisp Alaskan air, and finishing your shift with a hike to a glacier or a river rafting trip under the midnight sun. HAP Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge in Copper Center, Alaska is looking for energetic university students to join its housekeeping team as Room Attendants for the Summer to Fall season.

This is more than a job – it’s a full Alaskan adventure with a paycheck. You’ll be part of an international team, meet travellers from all over the world, and create memories that will outlast your diploma.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to the lodge’s high standards
  • Changing bed linens, making beds and refreshing towels and amenities
  • Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sanitising bathrooms and living areas
  • Restocking supplies on your housekeeping cart and keeping storage areas organised
  • Reporting maintenance issues, lost items and safety concerns to your supervisor
  • Greeting guests warmly and assisting with simple requests in a friendly, professional way

Pay & Benefits

  • $16.00 per hour
  • 40 hours per week – with the possibility of overtime during busy periods

What We’re Looking For

  • University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA J-1 program
  • Conversational English and a positive, guest-focused attitude
  • Physical stamina – you’ll be on your feet, bending, lifting and moving throughout your shift
  • Attention to detail, reliability and a strong team spirit
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varied shifts
  • Availability from Summer through Fall
