Homestead Campground in Georgetown, Delaware is looking for energetic international students to join its Custodial & Cleaning team for the Summer to Fall season. If you want a Work & Travel USA experience that combines steady hours, a friendly small-town vibe, and easy access to America’s famous Atlantic beaches, this is your spot.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Custodial/Cleaning Team Member, you’re the person who keeps the campground looking spotless and welcoming. Your daily duties will include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathhouses, restrooms, and shower facilities
- Preparing cabins and rental units between guest stays – making beds, dusting, mopping, and restocking supplies
- Maintaining common areas such as the camp store, laundry room, pavilion, and recreation spaces
- Emptying trash and recycling bins around the campground grounds
- Restocking paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues to your supervisor
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping with simple questions

The Package
- $15.00 per hour – a strong, reliable wage

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational English – enough to greet guests and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with physical work: standing, bending, lifting, and being on your feet
- Positive attitude and willingness to work weekends and some holidays
- Team player who takes pride in a job well done
Please note: this position does not include tips, but your $15/hour rate plus a full 40-hour week means predictable, steady income all season long.
