Hungry Hut, a beloved hospitality spot in Shaver Lake, California, is looking for energetic international students to join its friendly team as Resort Workers for the Summer to Fall season. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Resort Worker, no two days look exactly the same – and that’s the fun part. Your duties will include:
- Greeting and serving guests with a warm, welcoming attitude
- Taking orders at the counter, preparing and serving food and drinks
- Operating the cash register and handling simple transactions
- Keeping dining areas, counters and workstations clean and tidy
- Restocking supplies, assisting with basic food prep and dishwashing
- Supporting your teammates during busy weekends and holiday rushes

In your free time you can swim, kayak, paddleboard and wakeboard on the lake, hike scenic forest trails, spot wildlife, or simply watch the most spectacular sunsets over the water. You’re also within driving distance of world-famous Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park – home to the largest trees on Earth. Fresno is about an hour away for shopping and city trips, while San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas make perfect end-of-summer travel destinations.

Who We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 enrolled in the Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English and confidence speaking with guests
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team players who are flexible with weekend and evening shifts
- No previous experience required – full training is provided
