About the Position

As a Laundry Attendant, you are the backbone of the guest experience. Fresh, crisp linens and fluffy towels are what turn a good hotel stay into a great one — and that’s where you come in. This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role that’s perfect if you like staying active, working at a steady rhythm, and seeing the results of your effort right away.

Your Daily Duties

• Sorting, washing, drying and folding hotel linens, towels and bedding
• Operating commercial washing machines and dryers safely and efficiently
• Inspecting items for stains or damage and treating them appropriately
• Organising and restocking clean linen carts and storage areas
• Keeping the laundry room clean, tidy and well-organised
• Supporting the housekeeping team during busy check-in and check-out periods

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly rate: $17.50 per hour
• Hours: approximately 35 hours per week
• Season: Summer through Fall
• Tips: Not applicable for this position
• Overtime opportunities may be available during peak season

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
• Conversational English — enough to understand instructions and communicate with the team
• A reliable, punctual and positive attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift laundry bags/linens
• Attention to detail and pride in doing a job well
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays (the busiest — and most fun — times at the beach!)
