About the Job
As a Produce Clerk, you’ll be the person who makes the fruit and vegetable department look irresistible. It’s an active, hands-on role that keeps your day moving and helps you build real customer-service experience in an American retail environment.
- Stocking, rotating and arranging fresh fruits and vegetables
- Trimming, washing, weighing and packaging produce
- Checking product quality and removing items past their best
- Keeping displays, coolers and the back room clean and organized
- Helping customers find what they need and answering friendly questions
- Assisting with deliveries and unloading fresh shipments
- Supporting other departments during busy summer weekends

Who We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English and confidence talking with customers
- Positive attitude, punctuality and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift boxes up to ~20 kg
- Comfortable working in cool refrigerated areas
- Flexibility for early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Previous retail or grocery experience is a bonus, but not required – full training provided
