Breakfast Attendant

LOGE Southport is an outdoor-inspired lodge on Maine's stunning mid-coast, and we're looking for energetic Work & Travel USA students to join our team as Breakfast Attendants from summer through fall.
This is more than a job – it's a season of ocean sunrises, lobster rolls, kayaking, hiking and friendships with students from around the world.
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting up and refreshing the daily breakfast buffet with fresh, appetizing displays
- Greeting guests with a warm smile and helping them start their day right
- Brewing coffee, restocking pastries, fruit, cereals and beverages
- Keeping the breakfast area, tables and service stations clean and welcoming
- Monitoring food quality, temperatures and basic food-safety standards
- Washing dishes, resetting the dining space and assisting the kitchen team
- Answering guest questions about the lodge and sharing local tips

What We're Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a J-1 Work & Travel USA visa

Laundry Attendant

Imagine finishing your shift and walking straight to the water's edge, where lobster boats bob in the harbour and the Atlantic breeze carries the smell of salt and pine. That's daily life at LOGE Southport, an adventure-inspired hospitality property tucked away on the island of Southport, Maine. We're hiring Laundry Attendants for the Work & Travel USA season, and we're looking for energetic university students who want a real American summer with a coastal twist.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Laundry Attendant, you are the quiet hero behind every comfortable night's sleep our guests enjoy. Your day-to-day will include:
- Sorting, washing, drying, folding and pressing linens, towels and bedding
- Operating commercial washers, dryers and folding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspecting linens for stains or damage and treating or removing items as needed
- Stocking and organising linen closets and delivering fresh supplies to housekeeping teams
- Keeping the laundry area clean, tidy and well-organised throughout your shift
- Supporting the housekeeping and front-of-house team during busy check-in and check-out periods

About the Position
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that's perfect for students who like to stay active and see the results of their work. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, cabins, and common areas to LOGE's high standards
- Changing bed linens, making beds, and replacing towels and amenities
- Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisor
- Handling laundry and organizing housekeeping carts and storage areas
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping create a welcoming atmosphere
